In India, there’s an ancient festival, Raksha Bandhan, that celebrates the spirit of brotherhood
where gifts are given to sisters and the bonds strengthened. Girls tie a sacred colorful thread on the wrists of brothers, and those they consider as brothers. And brothers bless sisters and gift them money and other things. Nice way to gift and celebrate friendship.
